Name: Review:
It was a bold move to switch from AATU wet dog food, but I decided to try Aatu dry food for my 15-year-old Golden retriever's sake. Her taste buds seemed indifferent to the Pooch and Mutt brand, as she'd eat it without enthusiasm. At first, she wasn't interested in trying anything new - even a bowl of chicken flavor AATU was met with a begrudging acceptance, as if she'd been conditioned to expect such blandness from her regular meals.

However, when I introduced the same chicken flavor under her nose, something unexpected happened: she devoured it. This was followed by a remarkable display of aggression towards one of our younger Labradors' bowls - an unprecedented moment in my dog's feeding history! She ate with gusto and then proceeded to steal food from another dog altogether.

I'm amazed at this behavior, as her usual response when offered real chicken is none too enthusiastic. We're only on our second 12k bag, but I've noticed that these dogs don't experience any adverse reactions or upset tummies - it's almost as if they were never bothered by the Pooch and Mutt brand in the first place. I did introduce this new food gradually, skipping over periods of gradual introduction to minimize the risk of digestive upset.

It appears that AATU dry food has earned its place in our dog's life - we're all loving it! We've been monitoring their health closely, and everything seems to be thriving on this chicken flavor.

My 2-year-old Staffie has taken a shine to this food, and I can see why - the smell really gets him excited when he's eating, almost like a little welcome party for his bowl! The kibble itself is surprisingly chunky, but not so big that it's uncomfortable for my dog. This bag of goodies has been a game-changer for me, with its clever zip seal keeping everything fresh and secure. I'm impressed by the quality control and attention to detail - this food really feels like high-quality stuff. Unfortunately, the price is a bit too steep at £50 per month, which is a bit out of my budget considering I used to get a similar product for less. If AATU were to offer some discounts or subscription deals, I think it would make this product an even better value for my money - as it stands, I'm happy to stick with it, but I do wish there was more flexibility in terms of pricing!

We started with a 1.5kg bag "just to try", and after seeing how enthusiastically our cockapoo, Opie, eats it, we've now bought two 10kg bags which will easily cover the year - it's been a huge difference in his routine, energy, and overall comfort since he also gets wet food. We're confident that this kibble has finally worked for him after trying multiple brands with little success - he comes to us as a dog who’s very picky specifically with dry food, but everything changed instantly when we switched him to chicken kibble.

We've had positive feedback from the previous family who tried similar products before, and we're glad that our cockapoo's eating habits have improved significantly since then. For a newly adopted dog adjusting to a new home, it's made a huge difference in his energy levels and overall comfort - he now eats his meals in one sitting, clearly enjoys the flavour.

We've been impressed with the ingredient quality, kibble size, and overall formulation of this product, which feels genuinely premium. We appreciate the transparency that comes with making your product for dogs.

Our only suggestion would be to make calorie information (kcal per 100g) visible on the packaging to help with precise portioning - it's always been a bit tricky for us to get our cockapoo just right without any guidance.
